Performance of Nursing Schools June 2009 Nursing Licensure Examination (FEU)
People have misconceptions regarding the board exam rating of each nursing schools. The rating depends on the total number of students from the particular school/university who took the test. From there, the percentage will be computed as to the number of examinees who passed the test.
If you think the percentage of a certain school or university is low, take note of the number of examinees representing the school/university because the percentage is not based on the over-all examinees in the Philippines, it is based per school/university.
I would like to emphasize the rating of my Alma Mater, FAR EASTERN UNIVERSITY-MANILA… In addition, Of course, this is my graduating batch…
Far Eastern University, Manila ranked 14 in the 100 and above number of examinees category.
There were 1845 first takers (this is us, FEU-IN Batch 2009) and 1559 or 84% examinees passed. For the repeaters, there were 212 examinees and 67 or 32% passed.
For the overall tally, there were 2057 examinees (3rd largest population in the same category) and 1626 or 79% passed.
The result is not bad, in fact, this is an excellent rating because I believe CHED considers the result with the number of first takers examinees.
Good Job Dean Annabelle Borromeo, Mr. Taha Jejin Nonog and Mr. Terrence Ranjo (Nursing Audit Coordinators) and to all the Institute of Nursing Faculty (Lecturers and Clinical Instructors)!!! Thank You SOooOOOoo Much! We couldn’t have achieved this victory without your help, guidance and support…
To my batch mates, Congratulations!!! We really deserve it. Our hard work and efforts paid off… I believe we have regained the glory days of FEU…
Proud to be a Tamaraw Nurse!
