D’ Original Maki Haus Restaurant at Banawe St.

Where is Maki Haus?

That was the question. My mum and I had difficulty in finding it but our effort had been paid of because of their delectable Fookien Style foodies:

D “original” Maki noodles (P95). A thick Chinese soup with undeniable tenderness and juicyness of pork meat. This dish maybe served in a small portion or a large bowl. This “already-a-full-meal-for-me” dish was just the appetizer.

Kiampong (P35). A Chinese version of our Filipino “Paella” rice atop with whole fried peanuts.

Cha-Mi (P125). Composed of Lo-Mi noodles but without the sauce/soup. It is mixed with pork bits.

Oyster Cake (P155), an oyster omelette that is served like pizza. How cool is that? When you bit it, it has a mixture of sticky at flavorful taste.

Fried Squid (P185). Chewy especially if combined with its special dip.

Steamed Fish Fillet (P195). Common to Chinese cuisine, served with garlic bits and onion stem sprinkles.

Days before I ate at Maki Haus, I was craving for Siomai. Maki Haus’ pork SIOMAI (P20/piece) really gratified my craving. It’s a siomai that is a size of a toddler’s fist plus it is very rich. 1 siomai is equivalent to 3 siomais of some cheap siomai vendors. For the win!

Where is Maki Haus?

Main branch is in 883 Banawe St. Quezon City and their newest branch is at 59 Sct. Tobias St. Quezon City. They also deliver, just call 411-87-67; 666-14-68

Maki Haus is the newest addition to my “Chinese” restaurant list.

Ahh, the famous Maki Haus. I always see that whenever we want something from Ersao or whenever we pass by Banawe. That street has definitely some of the yummiest food ;) I remember growing up there, the house beside Teriyaki Boy now :)
